Educational interventions for antibiotics misuse and self-medication in Africa
The National Institutes for Health Research, USA, has approved research protocol titled “Educational interventions for antibiotics misuse and self-medication in Africa”. This Study intends to assess the quality of evidence presented and determine the effectiveness of health education as intervention tool for reducing prevalence and improving knowledge and attitude on antibiotics misuse and self-medication among adults.
Objectives
The specific objectives of this study include:
- Determine the quantitative effect of health education in reducing prevalence of antibiotics misuse and self-medication
- Determine the effect of health education in improving knowledge about antibiotics misuse and self-medication
- Determine the effect of health education in improving attitude about antibiotics misuse and self-medication
