One of the workshops was conducted by a team of professors from University of Cape Town (South Africa) that partners with one of the German Universities (from the Design Thinking School) and involved 12 participants – 6 from KU and 6 from MKU, the workshop focused on Design Thinking.
The 3-Day Design Thinking in Practice is an exposure to design thinking practices and process. Aimed at leaders, professionals and academics, this programme will introduce participants to tools and techniques that will enable them to guide entrepreneurs who want to apply the human-centered approach to complex problems and develop practical solutions to those complex challenges.
While this workshop was taking place at the MKU Graduation Pavilion, a concurrent workshop that targeted 10 MKU members was been conducted at Research Boardroom at the Alumni Plaza.
The workshop focused on Leadership and Strategy Development with a strong emphasize on funding, resource mobilization and partnerships with industry and institutions of Higher Learning. This is offered by a team from the partnering German Universities.
