Benazir mohammed yusuf an MKU Distance and institution Based learning student is among the top three winners of the world bank’s blog4dev contest 2018. Blog4dev contest is a platform that allows the youth to think through a development issue and offer solutions through a blog.
This year, the topic was “What it would take to end Gender Based Violence”. Benazir’s blog was selected out of over 1000 blogs to come up tops.
She wins a fully paid trip to Washington DC to attend the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings which happen in April of every year. The trip helps them to network with other youth across the world and also learn more about development issues, which we also believe will contribute to her studies.
