Automatic hand-washing unit
Mount Kenya University Engineering, Peter Mithamo, successfully launched mo-Wash, a mobile hand washing unit into the market in response to the covid-19 pandemic. This stand-alone, fully automatic portable unit requires no plumbing or drainage, providing a cost-effective hygiene solution at functions such as funerals, weddings and outdoor events.
The university is currently producing Wall mounted and freestanding units with the option of a splash back to incorporate soap bottle holders and paper towel dispensers.
