African Health Agenda International Conference

Ruth Mbugua, Head of Department Community Health Nursing, making a presentation at the African Health Agenda International Conference , Raddison Blu Hotel, Kenya Hosted by AMREF Health Africa. The conference ran from 7th to 9th March 2017.
The African Health Agenda International Conference which was Hosted by AMREF Health Africa was held at the Raddison Blue hotel Nairobi on 7th-9th March 2017.The theme of the conference was; Towards a healthier Africa: People, Systems and Innovations.
The conference which was attended by over a thousand delegates from all over the world provided a Platform to deliberate on strategies, scientific approaches and investments needed in people, systems and innovations to enable Africa reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S).
Ruth Mbugua, the Head of Department of Community Health Nursing presented a paper entitled, “The role of Community Health Workers monetary incentives on retention and health service delivery in Kibwezi sub-county, Makueni County.”
