Dear sir,
Following a letter from the Registrar allowing my being allocated afresh new supervisors so as to continue with my studies, I want to personally and most sincerely register my appreciation to you for your very personal intervention on the matter even amidst your busy schedule of seeing the entire organization forges on.

I must say I will forever remain not only grateful to you but personally proud that I have such a concerned VC in the institution.
