MKU economics club shines in the annual economic symposium held at Kenyatta University on 12th March 2019
Mount Kenya University Economics club presented a project on Commercialization of Rabbit farming in Kenya. This year’s symposium theme was Economic transformation through trade, Value added Agriculture and Manufacturing. The symposium brings together all the universities in Kenya. Mount Kenya University emerged position 3 nationally and were awarded with certificates and cash award.
In addition, Economics Club through Mount Kenya University Foundation successfully carried out an inaugural activity under the banner HIGH SCHOOLS CHALLENGE on 23rd March 2019 with an aim of inculcating the art of Research and Entrepreneurship among the high school students. The club anticipates to be holding this challenge regularly by bringing on board different Secondary schools to compete and showcase their masterly in this Economic world.
