INNAUGURTION OF MKUSA 2017 STUDENT COUNCIL
Following the successful MKUSA 2017 elections, the newly elected officials were officially inaugurated and ushered into office in a ceremony held on 10th February, 2017. In his address during this occasion, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Planning and Institutional Advancement (DVC APIA) on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the Students Council as one of the five governing organs of the University that play a critical role in the effective implementation of the University mission. He added that the University has operated within the legal framework for the approval of academic programmes and that all programmes offered at Mount Kenya University are approved.He added that the University Management has deployed the 2015 – 2019 Strategic Plan and is utilizing ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System to guide the University’s development as it strives to ensure continuous improvement in academic delivery, improved facilities and superior services.
