MKU Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Flight Training Centre
Mount Kenya University on 31st August, 2021 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Flight Training Centre that will allow both institutions to roll out professional courses to the pilots trained at Flight Training Centre. The event that was hosted at Thika Main campus by Vice-chancellor Prof. Deogratius JAGANYI among the attendees were Flight Training Centre CEO Mr. Godwin Wachira, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Vincent Gaitho among other representatives
Prof. JAGANYI said “The MoU we are signing today with Flight Training Centre will be a game changer in the training of pilots in Kenya and may be in the region.”
Training of pilots in Kenya is regulated by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and that very intensive work goes into the training of a pilot. However, times we are in are different therefore, following the signing of the MKU –FTC MoU the two institution will roll out professional courses to the pilots trained at FTC. Said Prof. JAGANYI
