Varsity granted a green light to offer General Surgery
MKU has been granted permission to offer Master of Medicine in General Surgery. The Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board CEO Daniel Yumbya, in a letter to the university’s Vice-Chancellor. Prof. Stanely Waudo, confirmed the course approval by the oversight body.
“The board has granted your institution provisional approval to start the Mater of medicine programme in general surgery,” the letter said.
The Course will start with a maximum of 15 students.
